QFXtoQBO is designed to convert financial files without uploading their contents to a server.

Financial file processing

Selected and pasted files are read into browser memory. Parsing, preview, validation and QBO generation happen on your device. We do not send your statement contents to our hosting provider, an AI provider, a database or object storage. The converter does not use cookies, local storage or browser databases to persist your transactions. Reloading, closing the tab or choosing Start over clears the active conversion state. Downloaded files remain in the location you choose.

Website requests

Vercel hosts the site and Cloudflare manages the domain and related services. When your browser loads the website, infrastructure providers can process normal connection information such as IP address, request time, URL, browser information and security events under their policies. This is separate from financial file contents. We have not added advertising, tracking pixels or third-party analytics scripts.

Support messages

If you email support@qfxtoqbo.com, the message is routed through Cloudflare to our support inbox, which uses Gmail. We receive information you choose to include, such as your email address, browser, software version and error description. Do not send bank passwords, account credentials or unredacted statements. Start with a sanitized example. Support correspondence is kept while needed to handle the request and associated records; we do not promise an automatic deletion period that has not been implemented.

Your choices

You can use the converter without creating an account. To request deletion of support correspondence under our control or ask about privacy, contact support@qfxtoqbo.com. Provider-controlled security records follow the applicable provider policies.

Changes

If we add account storage, payments, analytics or server-side processing, this policy and the relevant user flow will be updated before that functionality is offered.
