Each export creates one QBO file for one account. A file with 100 transactions and a file with 1,000 each use one export. Preview and validation errors are free.

One successfully generated, locally validated QBO file uses one export. We count files, not pages or individual transactions. Each file must contain one account and stay within both 2 MB and 10,000 transactions. For example, one CSV with 1,000 transactions uses one export; 12 monthly files exported separately use 12. The tool processes one file at a time. Preview and validation errors do not count. Re-downloading the same unchanged conversion in the same open tab does not count again. Changing the file or settings, starting over, or reloading the file starts a new conversion; downloading that new conversion uses another export. Your browser must allow the download; we cannot observe what happens to the file after it is saved.
Free allowances reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month. Pro provides 500 exports for 30 days from purchase. Unused exports do not roll over. After Pro ends or its allowance is used, any remaining Free account exports are available.
No. There is no subscription to cancel. Buy another pass when the current pass has expired and you need one. You can keep using the free plan.
Yes. One person can process files they are authorized to use, including client bookkeeping. Each file must contain one supported account. Account sharing, resale and automated bulk access are not included.
